好美味的鋰魚門 seafood dinner

很久沒有到鋰魚門食 seafood, the last visit should be 5 or 6 years ago with my family...i still remember the very very big 澳洲鮑魚 though the dinner was expensive.

前一陣子同個friend食飯, 佢介紹我去鋰魚門食海鮮, 話 $200 per head and can choose 6 seafood by yourself, 好抵食......搞到我心郁郁.... 由於檔期關係, 所以今年提早 celebrate Mother's Day, my family loves seafood, so i propose to go to 鋰魚門 for a try!

昨日我好乖sleep到差不多一點就起身 start my exam revision :p (至於 GeorG....er.... too enjoy his undisturbed sleep, 睡到有多"早"就不便說了....) 5點零鐘we get changed and take $8 紅 van 去 Kwun Tong, 見時間尚早 ('cos 約咗 family 7點鐘鋰魚門等), so行咗入去 APM Jusco 買 A-1 bakery bread bread for today's breakfast, 之後就坐另一紅 van ($3.5) to 鋰魚門!

行咗5 minutes 左右都未見 friend 介紹的享記, 驚自己"烚吓烚吓" overlook 咗, 'cos 成條街檔檔都是 seafood stall la! 間間都是x記, x記......於是 call call 個 friend 問問, 原來要行入 d 過埋籃球場先到.....終於見到享記啦, 都幾隱閉 wor......起初我有d hestitation, 'cos 個檔無咩 seafood 咁, but 老闆 and 老闆娘就好 nice. 問我哋想食 d what? 心諗來到就 try try la, maybe it is good ler.

We have 6 people, $200 per head 套餐包 6 seafood at your own choice (for you interest, table with 8 ppl or above can then choose 8 different seafood; even 2 ppl can choose 6 seafood, but of course the quantity would be adjusted :p).
Mum picked abalone without second thought! And we ordered lobster (plus e-noodle), 蟶子. 老闆娘介紹 we try 枇杷蝦. Dad would like to eat fish, 老闆娘話 $200 set menu does not include 東星, 只 include x 班, x 班, x 班..... (hahaa...i forget lu), but 老闆娘話今晚有個客 order 咗一條東星, if we dont mind to have a fish that is not whole in one, i.e. 斬件蒸, she can include the 東星 for our dinner set! Dad and Mum agree on this!
And then the 6th seafood....what should we take? We dont want to take crab, prawn or shells (Saturday news 話扇貝有毒ar!), and mum want to take 象拔蚌, haahaa.... but 象拔蚌 again could not include as one free seafood in the menu, but 老闆娘 said we can consider sacrify one seafood and pay the upgrade to exchange for 象拔蚌. 老闆娘 suggest we try Mexico 象拔蚌 as it is relatively cheaper, $96斤, she choose one for us that weights 兩斤四兩, 老闆娘 say we can simply pay $96 to change one seafood to 象拔蚌 and we all agree! 老闆娘仲話送 d 蜆比我哋食 ar! heeheee.....so good.
On the way to restaurant, 行過紹香園, GeorG 忍不住 bought $20 walnut, very tasty indeed!

之後我哋就去咗快樂 Seafood Restaurant 等開餐 :p also recommended by my friend. To our surprise, 快樂 is a very new and neatly decorated restaurant, it has a small balcony outside that you can see the scenery in HK East! In fact most of the 鋰魚門 restaurants are old looking, this one is really an exception. I m so smart to make a reservation as the restaurant is quite full ar and there are people waiting outside!

Since they do not charge corkage, so we brought an ice-wine from home for the dinner!


等咗好鬼耐先有得食 >.< 個 waitress 教我哋下次chur 老闆立刻秤 d seafood and then follow him to deliver to the restaurant, then we can minimize the risk to wait for long. Sometimes, the seafood stall has so many business that would delay the delivery process......她也說得對, 剛才 when we nearly finish the ordering, another batch of customers arrive to pick seafood la!

Yeah, the seafood arrive la, to our surprise the portion is big for each seafood!
鮑魚仔 - 一d都唔係仔, 好大隻, 仲好"chi"實隻殼, GeorG 話 this 代表 fresh wor!
lobster 伊麫底 - 超多肉
蟶子 - 好爽 and 好大
枇杷蝦 - out 1st time try, not bad, very like 清蒸開邊龍蝦, 很大啖肉
蒸東星 - 正正正正正, 啖啖肉, 大大件, 條 fish in whole must be very big, 連我唔"好"魚的都狂吃
象拔蚌 - 新鮮切片 sashimi, since mum has some hestitation with sashimi, so we ordered a bowl of soup for "烚一烚" but she also agree that without heated is more 鮮甜!
油鹽水煮蜆 - 免費來說, 老闆娘實在慷慨, very big bowl ar! 好鮮味呀!

Apart from the seafood, the dinner includes peanuts and one plate of 皮旦薑 and "Q-頭" as 開胃前菜, a plate of vegetables (my sister keep praising the 菜心, very big and sweet, mum said the vege might be grown by the restaurant themselves....haahaa), and also a bowl of fish soup (with beancurb, 紫菜).

The dinner costs : -
Seafood : $200 x 6 ppl + $96 for 象拔蚌
Additional Charge for restaurant : ($50 for e-noodle + $50 soup for 象拔蚌 + $28 beer) plus 10% service charge
Grand total : $1436.8
we think this seafood dinner is 好抵, more value for money than Sai Kung when commensurating the quality of seafood and size! For sure, we would visit it again ^o^

Last but not least, 母親節快樂, very happy to see that mum and dad are enjoying the seafood dinner a lot!!

Winnie 同 Ca Ca 來探我!

今晚我同Winnie, Rebecca 來一個 gathering! 不是很久不見, 但 should be for a while already. 佢哋上來 my home, 仲 bring 了兩個 Godiva milk chocolate chips ice-cream for me and GeorG (now in my freezer). 三個靚女開開心心談了一晚 ^o^
今晚還有一個重大發現, 原來 CaCa 有 NDS 同埋 Wii......heehee....下次記住帶來玩啦....heehee....

Yummy - 澳洲鮑魚煲雞湯

Mum 昨天 bring us a very very big 澳洲鮑魚 to our home and prepare the soup for us. The abalone is much much bigger than my hand, it was sent by an auntie for my mum on the chinese new years. The soup is very very very nice. And we have sliced the abalone as one of the dish for our dinner. GeorG loves the soup so much and keep saying that "好香鮑魚味!!" Mum said she guess the abalone costs more than $500! Together with the fresh chicken, woow, the soup costs $600 ar!! Spilt into 2 night with around 8 bowls, woow...each bowl costs 75, so lavish :p :p
It's a regret that i didnt take a picture with them ~.~"

愉快的一晚

很久沒有一班小學同學來一個 big gathering, it's really difficult to arrange a night where all of us are in HK and free! We had it yesterday (Saturday).

We have a very very nice dinner in Rice Paper, TST Harbour City. The food is nice but i think what makes the night so memorable for me is we have a very enjoyable time by sharing with each other so truly our feeling and story.

唔知大家 agree 唔 agree 細個認識的朋友 especially 交心, the friendship is more 純真 without any 猜忌. I think i am lucky as i can maintain close friend relationship with my primary school friends!

食完 dinner 唔夠喉, although it's already 10p.m., Venus, Minnelli and I went to Pennisula's lobby coffee shop to continue to chat more and more....haahaa...the coffee shop is such a nice place in the night, so quiet and relaxing. Haaha...we turned out leaving the coffee shop at mid-night, then go back to Ocean Terminal to get the car and Minnelli drives us home ^o^ (as it is too late, it took us some time to find the way leading to the carpark as most of the connections are CLOSED!!)

雖然當晚知道大家的經歷有開心 and 有唔開心, really hope that everyone of us can get through all the unhappiness and enjoy everyday we have!

雨後的中環夜景真的很美

This is taken after the rain storm yesterday night, my home 的夜景真熣燦 ^o^ wish that there wont be any tall buildings develop in front in the coming few years!

公益金"慢慢"行

It is a very bright and hot sunday. Today, we together with my family joined the Community Chest's "Kong Kong - Shenzhen Western Corridor Walk for Millions". We meet in Tuen Mun at 1p.m. and take a bus to the starting point. Wow, when we arrive, we found that so many HK people particpate in this charitable function, according to the news, over 30,000 people joined this walk.

It is a 7km walk along the bridge and expected to take 2 hours. We took around 2.5 hours to finish the walk, and we all got tanned after the walk. We only feel how tired our foot were when we take the bus trip back to Tuen Mun KCR station.....but it is a happy walk, right?!

Dinner at 慶公宴

Because GeorG's brother Dennis got a very nice bonus, the in-laws suggested him to treat all of us a dinner. Dennis assigned us to pick a nice place for the dinner and we spot this from 私房菜 from the Internet!!


They have 2 menu for the dinner, $360 or $500 plus 10% s.c., the only difference is $500 got shark-fin and abalone as well! We agreed to pick the $500 as GeorG is happy to share part of the bill as well because of the top-up.

well, we had a very nice and special dinner that night. And I am sure my in-laws are very happy to dine with their children with their another halves ^o^ For us, it is great as we both enjoyed the relaxing dinner after the exciting play at the World Carnival lor!

World Carnival

To me, going to the World Carnival has a special meaning to me, as it was GeorG who went to the first Winter Carnival with me in 2001 ^o^

When i know there is World Carnival this year, i urge GeorG to go with me, but he refused as he is not fond of the games there....but after my 疲勞轟炸, GeorG surrender and agreed to bring me there! heehee....

This morning, we plan to wake up at 9:30a.m. as i want to be the first guest entering into the playground....as expected, we sleep a little bit more and it turns out that we can only arrive Central's McDonald for breakfast around 10:45a.m.....but why do we need to go to Central's McDonald for bf? heehee...because Hello Kitty fans Sillyer would like to have the Happy Meal's toy (a Hello Kitty camera), and we also want to leave the cardigan and coat to GeorG's office so that we can bring minimal things to the playground.

In order to arrive there earlier, GeorG decided to take taxi there so that it would allow Sillyer to play as long as possible.


Well, when we arrive at 11:30a.m., we already see some people playing around. As it is a hot day with sunshine, we decided to start the day by playing a wet game "Pirate River"....we (should be I) enjoyed it a lot ^o^ ..... well, maybe we are too old, not many of the mechanical games we would dare to play. We played 1 Pirate River, 2 times of another wet game, 1 腳 fing fing roller coaster (I feel bad after this game >.<), 1 Formula 1 slide (I didnt played this game actually as i asked GeorG to test this game for me and he commented that it is too exciting and ask me not to try), 5 times of 碰碰車, 2 times of 毛毛蟲 kids level roller coaster and 3 times of 摩天輪... haahaa...

The entrance ticket include 30 tokens for each adult, we have played all 60 tokens within a short while (as GeorG keep challenging the slam dunk ~.~"). Finally we exchange 25 more tokens to paly. Well, we only managed to win a little dog toy from the ping-pong ball game and also the must-have toy (a big hand) from the "吊 duck duck" game.

We finally leave the Carnival playground at 4:30p.m. and go for a nice nice afternoon tea! As we will only have the family dinner in Central at 7:45p.m., we then have a nice shopping time in IFC (well, in fact should be Sillyer enjoying the shopping and GeorG is enjoying the follow-through :p)

這個 weekend 好多節目呀

見天氣唔錯, 想 tmr 去 World Carnival 玩玩.....其實 GeorG 唔恨去, 可能佢老咗一歲唔再 afford 得 d exciting mechanical games :p But 我好想去玩摩天輪, 碰碰車, 腳"youn-youn"過山車, game stall (despit i m not interested in the toys :p).....唔知仲多唔多人呢? Because tmr night we have dinner with family (GeorG's family)...so assuming that we arrive World Carnival at 11a.m. sharp, we can at most play to 7p.m. ar! I remember my boss said he went there on one sunday and every games takes an hour to queue ~.~"

講開 dinner, 聽晚 we will go to 慶公宴, the highest rated 私房菜, for dinner (www.clubqing.com), we have ordered the $500 menu for 8 of us, hope it is nice la!

Sunday, we will go to 公益金百萬行! This time the route is the new bridge leading to PRC near 后海灣. We will go with my parent, my sister and Cyrus.....GeorG only know that his company also participate this function which if we join, can depart in the first time slot....anyway we have registered already and we will have the walk starting at 1p.m. hope the weather is very nice to walk la!

This is my new toy at home

Remember i mentioned i have new toys at home : Hello Kitty 扭旦.

It is a set of 6 經典 storybook :- Cinderella, Snow White, Swam Lake, The Little Match Girl, Little Red Hat, The Mermaid. The Hello Kitty dress as the storybook's 主角 and inside the book is a background of that story. It's pity that i dont know Japanese, they have a short summary of the story inside as well!!

Happy Five Years Anniversary

heehee....似乎 we always mentioned monthiversary and anniversary celebration on this blog ^o^
係呀, we celebrate on every 5th and 7th indeed! 5號 is our wedding day while 7號 is our 拍拖日 ^o^
今個 Ching Ming and Easter holiday 咁啱踏正 5號& 7號, 緊係多d activities la, 算係 special 少少 :p
5號要去 Diamond Hill 拜公公, this is the first time GeorG go to Diamond Hill 拜山ar! 我哋好有口福, 'cos 姨媽親手 make 煎堆 and "sap-雞", yummie! 之後就陪 Mum and sis and 舅父 take afternoon tea....because we dont want to go out for dinner, we decided to 去街市買餸煮飯, GeorG 想食 fish, i m ok as long as i dont need to deal with the fish, as i dont feel comfortable in washing the fish, so horrible. GeorG suggest to buy a "馬頭" so that he can pan-fried it. As you can imagine, the whole dinner was cooked by GeorG finally, the fish is very nice, heehee...煎得好香呀, yeah!

6號我哋兩隻 pig 瞓到好好 late, because we know tmr morning we need to wake up early ar :p so 儲定彈藥 :p
skip 咗 breakfast, 食完 lunch 都差不多 2:30p.m....heehee....左騰騰, 右騰騰, GeorG 做吓公司嘢, 我做吓exam exercise,6 點又要出TST食 dinner, this night we went to Fat Angelo's to have a very full dinner with 阿彪! (Sorry, 阿彪, we forget to bring back the camera to return to you :p)

7號 la, our 5 years anniversary, wow, 原來同 GeorG 拍拖有5年 lu, really 眨眼就過 ar! 今日大清早要起身返 GeorG 的鄉下(即東莞)拜山, 我哋約咗阿哥同阿妹8:30am响上水食 Breakfast....晨咁早已有好多人take KCR返大陸 ~.~" 不過總算 smooth...arrive Lo Wo is around 9:30a.m., and then take 1 hour 15 minutes coach ride to 東莞東城, we intend to sleep in this 1 hour journey, but the coach played the 睹神 VCD with high volume, we cant really sleep ~.~" arrive the bus terminal, we then 再 take 10 minutes ride taxi to GeorG's family home at 桑園. It is also the start of our Eating Journey....

After waiting a while at home (while we utilize every waiting minute to learn to play a new card game called 鬥地主 which was taught by 安哥), we start off the day by going to 拜山, the 鄉下拜山 tradition is similar with that in HK, they would also bring a roasted pig to 祭祖, but one main difference is that they would fire 一大串炮仗 before leaving, so exciting ^o^

After 拜山, we go back to have our late lunch at a restaurant near the home, as u can imagine, the dishes are very cheap so we ordered a very fruitful lunch, chicken, goose, tofu, vegetables....etc....after the lunch, GeorG's cousin drove us to the town to hang around, the street look like HK's 花園街 with a lot of shops along the street, we didnt buy anything except socks (RM10 for 6 pairs, so cheap!!). After the shopping, we went to a coffee shop near the cousin's home for afternoon tea (heehee....eating again :p), while 安哥 go to the cousin's house to repair their computer.....after the afternoon tea (with a take-away order for 安哥), we then go to cousin's home for some resting (actually should be playing with her three kids), around 6:30p.m., we start to go for the dinner (eating again).

The dinner is actually a very 熱鬧 gathering, as 老爺 has invited the 同村兄弟 and their families to dine together, there were 11 tables for tonight and the restaurant is like HK's 大排檔, quite interesting, here is a pic taken before the dinner start while everyone is mingled around to chat with friends and relatives:


After the dinner, we go back to the cousin's home again as 安哥 need to continue to work on the computer repairing while we played cards with the kids (this time 6 of us playing "Last Card" together), the kids are very happy!! We left around 10:30p.m., and finish this memorable and meaningful 7th April, our 5 years anniversary with a very warm sleep ^o^

The next day, 8th April, we wake up at 9a.m. (so early again) to meet with the cousins for morning tea! We went to a nearby 5-star hotel for morning tea, again we ordered a lot of dim-sum and have a full morning ~.~" after the tea, we visited a 豪宅 area in Dongguan, the house there are as nice as those we found in 半山, with 落地玻璃窗, 兩層高 living room, 前後都有大花園, fascinating indeed. Then we go back home to play card games with the kids for a while again, before we end up the Dongguan trip with another full full lunch (eating eating and eating)!

The return coach journey (from Dongguan to Shenzhen) took us more than 1.5 hours, very congested near the SZ train station area.....we have a little shop around in Lo Wu Commercial Centre, nothing interesting at all, only expensive dresses and shoes (a so-called "Genuine Spain leather" shoe talking abount $900 after discount, crazy!) We met 阿彪 in 羅商記 and walk to 中森明菜 for Japanese dinner, we again have ordered more than our tummy could afford to eat ~.~"

埋單 $560, not very cheap, but very full indeed ~.~" we then walk to the mall nearby called 萬象城, the style is just like the mall in US, very big and spacious, but nearly all shops are those we found in HK, of course same price or even more expensive than that in HK ~.~"

We end up the night by taking the SZ MTR to Lo Wo and then go home, again a lot of HK people flooding back to HK, fascinating ^o^

Yesterday 9th April, we again had a long sleep and wake up only around 1p.m. :p as GeorG is not so busy with his work, he took charge of the housework, turn on the washing machine, brush and mop the floor, watering the plant, iron his shirts, while silly Sillyer is enjoying her study at the working room while secretly surfing the Internet and watch movie showing in the NOW TV ~.~" Mum and Dad then come up around 6:45p.m. to visit my new Hello Kitty 扭蛋 collection and our garden, we then left home together to dine at LCK 富臨 with my sister joining as well. A nice dinner with delicious 乳鴒 ^o^

Well, this is how we spent our Easter long vacation, how about yours? Did u take a nice rest?

Easter Long Holiday

Yeah Yeah! we will have a long long weekend from 5th to 9th April, Great Great. We can indulged ourselves at home with the housework, TV, films....and also my toys!
What are my toys? heehee....they are my Hello Kitty扭蛋...haahaa.....
