Sheraton Tea Buffet
Sorry to keep you waiting…..didnt have time to update my blog for a while…as I was very busy with my work…haahaa…yes, very busy, can you imagine Sillyer working hard from 9a.m. till…no earlier than 7p.m. each day at the office :p
Now life is resume to normal…at least at this moment…i then have time and "mood" to write my blog, a few back-dated blogs are coming….
16 September 2007, Sunday, I went to tea with GeorG @ The Cafe, Sheraton. This is our first time to have buffet in Sheraton, GeorG borrowed a card from his colleague so we have 50% off for the bill….i then realize that the Afternoon Tea buffet @ Sheraton is charging $238/person, of course, 10% service charge have to be added on top la! So expensive indeed :p
We arrived there sharp at 3p.m. and start our brunch + afternoon tea time (heehee…yes yes, we wake up late around noon and only took a bowl of corn flake at home as ...er....u can call as "breakfast"). The cafe look 暗暗地 at the entrance, but it brings me another feeling once we were leaded round the corner ^o^
Frankly the buffet is not offering particularly outstanding food (when benchmarking with the high price it is charging), but you should be able to find what you have expected in a normal afternoon tea buffet @ hotel as they really have a wide choice of food indeed…salad, soba, cold cut, freshly baked pizza, soups, hot dishes, noodles & congee with choices of ingredients, desserts (cake, mouse, pudding, ice-cream, pancake and 刨冰). I think the most special thing in this buffet is 很 fresh, 肥美, 又大條的 asparagus, the chef woulod 即刻”烚” & then use some 8 years old Italian vinegar and draw some flowers on the plate before putting the asparagus on…yummy, we have 2 plates for each…haahaa.
After the buffet, we visited the 3/F Ballroom & 懷緬一下...haahaa....

Pancake with tiramisu below (top right corner), I found the Tiramisu is very very tasty, i took 3 pieces and GeorG took 2 pieces too even though he is not fond of desserts!

I missed the HK buffet soooooo much! Look very tasty and I'm feeling hungry now ;p
