My birthday with GeorG on 14 August!

Ar yeah! My birthday...14th August...my ?? year old birthday.

As i mentioned in previous blog, 响我極力要求下, GeorG 攞了一日 Annual Leave 陪我過生日 ^o^ 呢一輪佢都好唔夠瞓, so our first activity is only scheduled around noon so that he can sleep looooger. Yesterday night, he just managed to come back home to say "Happy Birthday" at midnight...oh well....unfortunately he wasnt the first one saying "Happy Birthday" to me as my sis called to say that to me sharp at midnight. So GeorG is the second one :p

The first "gift" he sent to me is a Hello Kitty birthday card, DIY by him, well, it's good looking...but i dont want to share this lovely gift here...haahaa....

Ok back to my day...we kick off the day of celebration by going to MK Broadway to watch "Rataouille", well, we both enjoyed cartoon and this one didnt disappoint us ^o^ It's raining when we go out from cinema....yup, today is not a good weather day...but since we dont have any outings today, so it's fine :p

We then visit the Hello Kitty MTR cabinet along the corridor between HK & Central station....heehee...actually it is not a "scheduled" activity, just so happen we r heading to Four Seasons, so we walk along to take the IFC exit.

Ar yeah, our 2nd planned activity is have a high-tea @ Four Seasons Hotel. We arrive there slighly after 3p.m. and leave only at 5:30p.m. as we both enjoying too much on the "doing-nothing" mood on a weekday...haahaa....of course it is also a good time for we, 兩公婆, to have a very long and relaxing chat....oh well.....when was our last time doing nothing and just sit down and chat with snacks and tea served??

This is indeed the first time for George to take high-tea (cannot imagine....), he originally suggests going to Pennisula (but i've been with my family before....).....but under the birthday girl's request, have to surrender @ Four Season's...haahaa....

Well, the tea-set is "huge", the scones are big and made us feel really full ~.~" (but it really taste good!) and we both love the little sandwich with crabmeat. For the dessert, frankly, a bit disappointing indeed, not tasty at all. One of the "special" service in teaing @ Four Seasons is you r allowed to refill the dessert, the waiter would hold a big plate of different kinds of desserts for you to pick, which are not the same as on the set! Though they look nice, but the taste again is so so.....oh....and so sad that they packed my stomach too!

After the tea, we go for a little shopping in IFC and TimeSquare......just a while, it's time for our reserved dinner.....Zeffirino @ Regal HK.
Zeffirino is a special restaurant for GeorG and myself as we first visited it in Las Vegas! In our honeymoon (date-backed to Nov 2005), we had a fine dinning lunch in Zeffirino @ The Venetian's Resort, Las Vegas, overseeing the canal! Since then we miss this restaurant a lot, both for the food and the mood! Earlier, we found that Regal's is the one we had in Las Vegas, so we go for a try!

Here is our 6-course dinner for 2. Frankly the food is ok, but i just feel too full, my tea set is still there in my tummy, i really cant take a lot, i m sorry to Zeffirino :p However, the decoration is that restaurant really not comparable to the one in Las Vegas, a bit disappointing on this. But the Tiramisu, one of its famous dishes, really deserve 100 mark! I love it a lot! That brings a happy ending to my day of celebration!

  • Four Season's Tea set is $190 for 1-ppl, $350 for 2-ppl. We ordered the later. The scones here would not disappoint you, quite tasty!
